Steelcraft is a proud and long time supporter for the Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business (CCAB), an organization dedicated to helping Canadian Aboriginal people build positive, sustainable relationships with Canadian businesses. CCAB was founded in 1984 by Murray Koffler, founder of Shoppers Drug Mart, and co-founder of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts to answer the question: “Is there a role for Canadian business to play in the economic development of Canada’s Native Peoples?”
Koffler’s vision for CCAB and his commitment to finding an answer to this question has generated impressive results in Aboriginal employment, business development and in positive community relations.
Steelcraft CEO Paul Summers has served on the CCAB Board of Directors since the organization’s inception, and today, the Steelcraft organization is a proud sponsor of CCAB, lending its support to such events as the organization’s Toronto Gala, and CCAB’s Aboriginal Business Luncheons featuring Canadian CEOs from across the country. We are honoured to be a part of CCAB’s success and a supporter of the terrific work they do in connecting Canada’s Aboriginal and business communities.
