We have an exciting opportunity for a NDT Quality Inspector to join out team on the day shift at our QCI Stratford location!

The Position

We are looking for a skilled NDT Quality Inspector who is able to Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to in process and finished goods in accordance applicable standards.

The Job

  • Perform LPI and MPI as required in accordance applicable standards.
  • Create and/or maintain all NDT reports and required logs.
  • Create and maintain all MPI and LPI specific work instructions.
  • Monitor and see to the maintenance of all NDT equipment and calibrations.
  • Oversee the Purchase Requisitioning of all NDT consumable products.
  • Direct NDT supervision and training of all Trainee and Level 1 personnel in preparation for certification.
  • Interact with Quality Supervisor and production concerning NDT requirements and related production scheduling.
  • Abide by all Health & Safety Regulations, and Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.

Your Skillset

  • CGSB or ASNT Liquid Penetrant Inspection Level II and Magnetic Particle Inspection Level II (SNT eligible applicants will also be considered).
  • 5+ years NDT experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of all welding type discontinuities.
  • Inspection experience within a welding and fabricating manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent with computer applications and basic computer programs.
  • Excellent knowledge of welding, metal fabrication and machining practices.
  • Blueprint reading skills, including GD&T, welding symbols and Gauge R&R.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Keen eye on detail to minimize documentation errors.
