Product Discharge Systems
High-value tank press and solid rake discharge systems that maximize product output.

Product Discharge Systems
Steelcraft is an expert in the design, engineering, and fabrication of mixing systems, mixing vessels, and product discharge systems. We understand our customers' needs to maximize product output and minimize losses and have designed our tank press and solid rake discharge systems accordingly.
Our tank press systems provide reliable discharging of viscous products into filling lines at a variety of heights while our rake systems are used to move settled solids to a central discharge for efficient separation.

- Question 1: When should I select a captive vs. loose o-ring design?
A captive o-ring design is required for applications where a loose o-ring might sink into the product (e.g. medium-viscosity products).
Beyond that, there are many other factors to consider when evaluating the two designs. Please contact our sales team for more information.
- Question 2: Will I need to modify my factory floor to install a tank press system?
In cases where a tank can be loaded using a forklift, Steelcraft presses can be secured to your floor using anchors. For applications where a tank will be rolled into position, a small pit in your factory floor will be required.
- Question 3: Does Steelcraft offer any customized discharge solutions?
Yes. Steelcraft's in-house engineering capabilities allow us to tailor solutions to your needs, which include auger-based discharge systems.
