Concentric-shaft agitators are generally used for blending of medium or high-viscosity fluids with a range of phases including gases, liquids, and solids.  Within our concentric-shaft agitator offering, we can customize all design elements including blade technology, shaft size, seal type, mounting configurations and gearbox selection.  Given the complexity involved with integrated shaft-within-a-shaft designs, each of which operate at their own speed, careful consideration is given to all machined components, drive assemblies, seal designs, etc, to ensure that desired mixing synergies are achieved.

Steelcraft's concentric shaft designs place the high-speed shaft in the center of your batch. This allows for more uniform batch movement, larger blade-to-tank ratios and larger, more robust drive train components as compared to a dual- or triple-shaft mixer. The end result is a more homogeneous batch in less processing time.
