Sanitary fabrications should always be installed in accordance with the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ).
Steelcraft will oftentimes use pre-polished plate for lighter gauge materials since they are more readily available. Post-weld polishing is required for all weld areas and for base materials on heavier plates.
